I just discovered your wonderful blog, and I appreciate your call for news. I recently launched Plenary Publishing, a new publishing company focusing on fiction and non-fiction books of interest to the African-American community.
We are a traditional publisher, offering advances and royalties, and we are committed to devoting significant resources to the editing, design, production and marketing of each book. We know that many writers are carrying a big vision inside of them, and we want to help you birth that dream (and not abuse it).
We plan to release titles beginning in Winter/Spring 2009, and we are currently seeking author submissions in a variety of fiction and non-fiction genres. Although we are a small press, we hope that some of your aspiring writers will want the chance to grow with us.

I have had 2 books released this week: Emerald City, from Red Rose Publishing, and the ebook edition of ErRatic, originally published by Five Star.
Emerald City is the tale of an archeologist in Egypt, who has to decide between two lovers, one living and the other, dead. This is an erotic paranormal novella.
